REGISTER AND BECOME A MEMBER
Stellenbosch Tourism and Information [STI] is the official marketing
agent for the town of Stellenbosch. One of our core activities is to supply visitor
services which include reservations to our members.
As a member, you can take advantage of a wealth of opportunities and link your business
to a dynamic tourism network. Your clients will be re-assured by the fact that you are
accredited by STI.
We offer your brand exposure, alignment with the official Stellenbosch brand, marketing
opportunities, business support, enquiries and reservations.
Basic benefits for becoming a member of Stellenbosch Tourism are:
- Membership fees are used for the marketing and generic publishing of Stellenbosch and Members' products.
- Exposure to approx. 200 000 walk-in visitors per annum, via personal interaction, display of your brochures and marketing/promotional material – next to Cape Town Stellenbosch Tourism is the second busiest information office in the Western Cape
- Monthly networking opportunities with other members at our Member Meetings.
- Newsletters to keep you in touch with what's happening in the office, town and industry.
- Access to stock of maps, brochures and publications supplied by Stellenbosch Tourism Information Bureau.
- Educational events for members' front-line staff to update them on products and services offered.
- We attend between +/- 15 National and International Shows per year where we market the town and therefore indirectly member's products as well.
- We are the only official link between the public and private sector - linking with both the Local and District Municipalities as well as CTRU, the Provincial tourism body.
- We offer free of charge listings on two web sites - enabling members to get online bookings. STI members also qualify to be listed on both the Cape Winelands and SAT web sites.
- We act as information- and reservation desks to all our members.
- We constantly negotiate better advertising fees for members, making advertising possible for those who would otherwise not be able to advertise.
- PDI Members can apply for discounted membership fee.
- But most importantly, we ensure quality control by assessing all products and ensuring that Stellenbosch remains a town where you will get exactly the experience you paid for.
